My remodeling is for the brave ones!!! I don’t know how the ring will look like at the end! I am often asked to combine more than 1 ring, jewels that were purchased to commemorate single events are combined together as one pieces. I cut original settings from rings, than I make a new silver setting for the gemstones while retaining original gold setting , than I make a base of the new ring in silver and add remaining gold. The cost of such remodeling depends from materials supplied, number of setting required. In this project there were 2 settings, i do not need to buy any extra gold, settings were made in silver, base of the ring was silver. The cost of this remodeling was $50. The final effect was amazing., turn up into a ‘ ring from another galaxy’ ………almost!!!!
